Bottin (Guglielmo Bottin, 1977) is producer, dj and sound designer based in Venice, Italy. He soon moved to the forefront of the contemporary disco scene with his concept album "Horror Disco” on Bearfunk Records UK, which garnered critical praise for its dashing display of all of Italo’s delights without the pastiche.
With an exhaustive touring schedule covering over 20 countries and 4 continents, from North America to Australia, Brazil to Japan, from Europe's best underground spots to events like We Love Space in Ibiza, Bottin’s reputation as both producer and DJ is steadily growing. His sets are an unpredictable journey into space disco, italo rarities, and deep funk. A reckless blend of retro-futuristic sounds and contemporary electronica that always sets the dance floor on fire.

Now firmly based in Bali, Matty has been Djing on a weekly basis worldwide since 1998. His company, THE DJ DISPENSARY runs tailor made DJ Retreats in some of the worlds hottest resorts. 2015 resort destinations include Bali, India, China, Dominican Republic and the USA.
Career highlights have been setting up shop in Singapore and Bali, and appearing as DJ mentor for the Asia wide MTV:Colab TV series. DJ residencies have included Subsix, the worlds first underwater club in The Maldives, Skylite rooftop club,in Abu Dhabi, Single Fin and Karma
Beach in Bali and the prestigious Taj in Mumbai (India). Appearances at Café Mambo (Ibiza), Reading & Leeds Festivals 2005 & 2006, StellaArtois After Dark, Singapore F1 Night Race, Abu Dhabi F1 Race have all been memorable. Matty has also appeared as DJ mentor for the
Asia wide MTV:Colab TV series, been Music Director for Nicole Farhi SS11 Fashion Show at London Fashion Week as well as working as an Artist Relations Manager at Warner Music UK.
During his career Matty has played alongside class acts such as Pete Herbert, Bill Brewster, James Lavelle, Bottin, David Holmes, Jose Padilla, Pete Gooding, The Unabombers, Breakbot, Mo Morris (A Mountain of One), Norman Jay, and Goldroom. Matty's own production and
edits are getting air time on radio from many shows including Jeremy Sole (KCRW, LA USA)
Matty is bound to the Hundred Schools of Thought of the DJ world. Stirring up the melting pot of old and new, playing anything from House, Disco, Rare Grooves and Boogie through to Balearic, Broken Beats and AOR. The mantra is simple; if its got the soul, its got the vote!
